Open up your natural resources book. Read Pages 1-10. Use complet sentences to answer the build knowledge on page 10. Use the illustration on page six to explain photosynthesis if you would like a 4 explain where each molecule goes and how it changes from the process of photosynthesis. Examine the pie chart on page 7 in the top right rectangle tell me in complete sentences which information you would pull out of the pie chart to support Kelly Gold’s Opinion, and in the bottom right rectangle tell me what information you would pull out of the pie chart to support Brett Berger’s opinion. Explain how this information Supports each persons opinion in the rectangles.

Open up your natural resources book. Read pages 12-21.  Complete the Build Knowledge on page 21 by answering the questions in complete sentneces.  Don't forget to add statements like according to the text, the author say's, add the page and paragaph number and quote the text.  Explain exactly what the graph U.S> Corn Production shows. What information did you learn about corn from it?

Open up your natural resources book. Read pages 22-31.  Use the chart on page 31 to write

complete sentences about

the different problems that corn growers face and the soluitons to those problems. Write at least three different problems and the solutions to those problems.  Show where you got this informatoin in the text.

On page 33 write a defintion for each word in complete sentences.  Make sure you spell the word correctly. Next, write a complex sentence using the vocabulary word. Spell the word correctly. The sentence must indicate what the word means and make sense. A complex sentence is a sentence with one independent clause and at least one dependent clause. It works best you will need to provide more information to explain or modify your sentence's main point.

Examples of complex sentences:

  • Even after all these years, when I saw the farm I was just as excited as the first day.
